Welcome to the Team Cycling Kits Blog
What this blog covers for team kit managers: ordering windows, roster locks, sizing by chest, sponsor zones, layout proofs, reorders and season planning.
Claire is the single contact on each team programme: she sends the 48-hour ordering plan, sets window dates, handles issue reports and signs the team file.
Claire is your team's single contact at Team Cycling Kits, from the first message to next season's reorder. Within 48 hours of receiving your team size, team type and design she sends the ordering plan: the ordering path for your team, the pieces to include, and the dates for proof sign-off, ordering window, roster lock and delivery, worked back from the day your riders need the kit.
After the roster lock she hands the signed layout proof and the locked roster to production together and follows the order through to packing. If a date moves, she reissues the whole date sheet as a dated new version, with old and new dates side by side, in writing. When a team manager sends photos of a problem after delivery, she replies within 24 hours on working days and checks it against the signed proof and the locked roster.
At the end of each season she files the team file record: colourway parameters, the layout proof version and that season's roster, kept for five years after the team's last order. On this blog Claire writes about ordering windows, season calendars, roster collection, sizing, reorders and handing a programme from one team manager to the next.
