- ISO 9001:2015 and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Six Team Kit Pieces in One Colourway: Jersey, Gilet, Jacket, Warmers, Cap and Socks
A kit set is built from six pieces. Your team picks the pieces it needs, and every piece you pick is drawn on the same signed layout proof, produced from the same colour parameters and entered on the same roster.

- 1
Team jersey
The centre of the set, carrying sponsor zones, crest, rider names and numbers in full sublimation, in four cuts from XS to 3XL. The other pieces take their colours and sponsor positions from the jersey layout.
- 2
Club gilet
Worn over the jersey for wind and early starts. XS to 3XL on separate men's and women's patterns, with chest and back sponsor zones that keep the main sponsor in view.
- 3
Club jacket
The outer layer for cold-weather riding. XS to 3XL on separate men's and women's patterns, with crest, sponsor marks and reflective print or reflective strips.
- 4
Arm and leg warmers
Banded in your team colours, carrying a small crest or sponsor mark, with silicone grip inside each cuff.
- 5
Cap
Your crest embroidered or sublimated on a cap in team colours.
- 6
Socks
Knitted in your team colours, crest included.
Each piece has its own page for build options and print zones:
- Jersey cuts, fits, print zones, logo sizes, names and numbers are on our custom team cycling jerseys page.
- Gilet and jacket options are on our custom club cycling jackets and gilets page.
- Warmer, cap and sock options are on our custom team cycling socks, caps and warmers page.
This page covers what happens when the six are made as one kit: the drawing that shows them worn together, the colour reference each piece is made to, the roster that holds a size for every rider and every piece, and the check that compares a full set before packing.
Bib shorts and other chamois-bearing garments are handled on procyclingapparel.com, where they are developed and sampled to a reference specification your team supplies, on a schedule of their own.
Combined Kit View: Every Piece You Order Drawn Worn Together and Signed Before Ordering Opens
In a kit set programme, your layout proof carries one extra page: a combined kit view. The Kit Layout Designer draws every piece your team has ordered, worn together on one rider, before the ordering window opens.
Most teamwear suppliers proof each piece on a separate sheet, and socks and caps are often confirmed by a colour code alone.
The combined view shows the ways your riders will wear the kit:
Jersey on its own, with cap, arm warmers, leg warmers and socks. Jersey with the gilet over it. Jersey with the jacket over it.
Only the pieces in your set appear. If your team has no jacket this season, the jacket view is left out.
- 1Team jersey
- 2Club gilet
- 3Club jacket
- 4Arm and leg warmers
- 5Cap
- 6Socks
Each view shows two things you only see when the pieces are worn together:
Where your main sponsor sits on the gilet and on the jacket once the jersey chest is covered.
Where the arm warmer bands meet the jersey sleeve end, and where the leg warmer bands meet the shorts leg.
How sponsors are ranked and which zone each sponsor holds is set out on our sponsor logo placement page.
Signed With Your Layout Proof and Taken to Your Committee, Sponsors and Riders Before Anyone Orders
Your team manager signs the combined view together with the rest of the layout proof.
It is a page of the signed proof, so it sits in your team file under the same version and date as the piece-by-piece drawings.
Before signing, your team manager can take this page to the people around the kit:
Committee
Your committee sees the full set and every piece it covers.
Sponsors
Your sponsors see their logo on the outer layers as well as on the jersey.
Riders
Your riders see the complete kit before they choose their own pieces and sizes.
The combined view is used a second time at the end of production. Before any rider's bag is packed, the Packing Lead takes one complete set from your run and checks it against this same signed page.
One Colour Reference per Piece for Sublimation, Embroidery and Knit, Dated in Your Team File
Each piece is made to a dated colour reference in your team file.
Your team file holds one set of colour parameters for your colourway. In a kit set, those parameters reach the pieces through different decoration methods: sublimation on printed pieces such as the jersey, embroidery on an embroidered cap crest, and knitting on the socks.

Many suppliers keep one list of colour codes and leave each piece to be matched to it separately.
We record one colour reference for each piece
- The Kit Layout Designer creates a colour reference for every piece in your set from your team's colour parameters, for the decoration method that piece uses.
- Each reference is saved in your team file with its date.
- The combined kit view states which colour reference version each piece is made to, and your team manager signs it with the proof.
Changes to the file are controlled
- Two roles can edit your team file: the Kit Layout Designer and the Programme Coordinator.
- Every change is saved as a new dated version, and the earlier version stays on file.
- Any change that touches the layout is co-signed by your team manager.
When you reorder, every piece is made to the same set of colour references, so next season's socks are knitted to the same reference as this season's and the new jackets match the jackets already in your riders' wardrobes.
We keep your team file for 5 years from your last order. Your team manager can ask for a copy at any time and see each piece's colour reference with its date.
Piece-by-Piece Ordering: Which Riders Get Which Pieces, With a Size Column for Each
Any piece in the set can be ordered for some riders and not others. A club might put every rider in jerseys, socks and caps, and order jackets only for members who ride through the winter.
- Team jerseyEvery rider
- SocksEvery rider
- CapEvery rider
- Club jacketWinter riders
Your ordering plan states, piece by piece, which riders it is made for and how many of each.
Sizes by piece
- Jersey, gilet and jacket: XS to 3XL, on separate men's and women's patterns. Riders choose their size for each piece separately.
- Arm and leg warmers, caps and socks: each has its own size column on the locked roster. The sizes available for each are listed in your ordering plan.
Within one style and colour, sizes mix freely across your team, and one rider can take a jersey in M and a jacket in L.
When the ordering window opens, each rider sees
- The pieces your team has ordered for them.
- A size field for each of those pieces.
- The combined kit view, so they see the full set before they choose.
Riders enter their sizes through a private team store or roster link. How the store and roster link run is covered on our team kit ordering process page.
Rider by Piece by Size: Every Roster Cell Checked Before the Order Desk Locks It
In a kit set, the locked roster has one row per rider and one column per piece, and each cell holds that rider's size for that piece. Many suppliers collect sizes piece by piece, with one sheet for jerseys and another for everything else.

4Club jacket · Count differs from plan
Before locking, the Order Desk checks the roster cell by cell:
- 1Empty cells: a rider listed for a piece with no size entered.
- 2Filled cells for a piece your team has not ordered for that rider.
- 3Rider numbers against the number rules on your layout proof, with no duplicates.
- 4Counts per piece against your ordering plan.
- Any cell that fails goes back to your team manager to settle with the rider before the lock.
- Once every cell passes, your team manager co-signs the roster and the Order Desk locks it.
- Changes after the lock are logged by the Order Desk and carried into your next ordering window.
Your packing list is built from this roster, one line per rider per piece, and every line on it traces back to one cell your team manager signed.
Send Your Piece List for a Reply Within 24 Hours
List the pieces your team wants and which riders each one is for. Your Programme Coordinator answers on working days, within 24 hours.
One Ordering Window for the Whole Set, Produced and Shipped Together
All pieces in your set are produced in one ordering window, from one roster lock, on the same delivery schedule as every team order: 20–30 days from roster lock, or 12–15 days on rush, as set out on our home page.
- Your jerseys, gilets, jackets, warmers, caps and socks go into production together and ship together.
- Your Programme Coordinator hands production your locked roster together with the signed proof, as one package, then follows the order through to packing.
- If any date changes, your team manager is told in writing straight away.

Your ordering plan works back from your season start and sets the dates for proof sign-off, the ordering window and roster lock, so the full set reaches your team before your first ride in the new kit.

Full-Set Check Before Bagging: One Complete Kit Laid Out Against the Combined View
The combined kit view your team manager signed is checked a second time before packing. Most suppliers inspect garments one by one and pack them by style, and the pieces of one kit are rarely laid side by side before they ship.
Before any rider's bag is packed, the Packing Lead takes one complete set from your run: one of every piece your team ordered, in every cut ordered. The pieces are laid out together against the combined view and checked on four points:
Point at a check to see where it falls on the signed view.
- 1
Each piece matches its own colour reference version in your team file.
- 2
Colour bands and team colours carry across the pieces, including the warmer bands at the jersey sleeve end.
- 3
Main sponsor and crest sit where the combined view places them on every piece, including the gilet and the jacket.
- 4
Every piece comes from the same layout proof version.
Bagging starts only after all four points pass.
When a piece fails
- It is pulled and remade before bagging.
- If the remake affects your team's shipping date, your Programme Coordinator tells your team manager in writing.
The Full-Set Check on Your Packing List, and Again When the Boxes Arrive
The result is recorded as the first line of your rider-by-rider packing list: the four points, the result for each and the Packing Lead's signature.
- Colour
- Continuity
- Positions
- Version
Jerseys also go through their own 5-point check one by one, set out on our jersey page.
You can repeat the same check when the boxes arrive. Lay one of each piece next to your copy of the combined view and go through the same four points.
The combined view is part of the signed layout proof, so a delivered piece that differs from it is handled under the issue rules on our home page: a piece that does not match your signed documents is remade by us, sent with the next production run, at no charge.
Set Packing: One Bag per Rider With Every Piece That Rider Ordered
Your set arrives packed rider by rider:
- 1One bag per rider, holding every piece that rider ordered.
- 2Each bag labelled with the rider's name and the size of each piece inside.
- 3A packing list with one line per rider per piece.
- 4The whole team shipped together to one address, your team manager's.

A rider who ordered a jersey, socks and a cap gets one bag with three pieces. A rider who also ordered a jacket gets one bag with four. Your team manager hands out one bag per rider and checks each bag against its lines on the packing list, with every rider's pieces already together.
Four Documents in a Kit Set Programme, With ISO 9001:2015, OEKO-TEX® and BSCI Coverage

Locked roster
One row per rider and one size column per piece, with names and numbers, co-signed by your team manager.
Rider-by-rider packing list
One line per rider per piece, with the full-set check as its first line, signed by the Packing Lead.
Team file record

Team Kit Sets, New Product Development and Kit Sampling Across Three Sites
One cycling kit manufacturer runs three sites. Each project goes to the site built for it.
| Your project | Where it runs |
|---|---|
| A team kit set in your colours, from the six pieces on this page, ordered on one roster each season | teamcyclingkits.com |
| A new product line developed from scratch for your own brand | cyclingapparelfactory.com |
| Race tops and other kit developed and sampled to your specification | procyclingapparel.com |
Tell us in your first message if your project spans two of these, and your Programme Coordinator will route each part to the right team.
Adding a Piece Mid-Season and Reordering the Full Set
A piece can be added to your set partway through a season, for example a jacket for autumn after the jerseys, socks and caps went out in spring.
- 1The new piece joins your next ordering window.
- 2The Kit Layout Designer draws it from your team file, using the same colour parameters, and adds it to the combined kit view.
- 3The updated combined view is saved as a new dated version, and your team manager co-signs it.
- 4The new piece then goes through the same roster check and full-set check as the rest of your set.
New riders and size changes during the season join your next ordering window in the same way.
At the start of a new season, the whole set is reordered from your team file, with the same colour references and the same combined view, updated only where your team changes something.
The reorder steps are on our team kit reorder program page. The club reorder case on our home page is a three-piece set of jersey, gilet and jacket.
